My Little Sister and I

Anna: My Little Sister Chava, 12, and I have been together for one and a half years. The caution and the distance that existed during the first months together disappeared fairly quickly, and since then we’ve grown very close and become good friends. We spend time together once a week and try to cover all kinds of different spheres – from culinary creations in the kitchen to nature walks to artistic performances.

One of my personal goals was to identify and help develop my Little Sister’s special talents. In Chava’s case this has meant voice training - and Oriental dancing is next.

On the one hand, the relationship with Chava has provided me with a special soul mate and an entrée into the real and fascinating world of her developing personality – while on the other hand, it’s been a journey of discovery about myself and to myself. Thank you Chava.

Chava: I feel very free with Anna, I can talk with her about anything and I get great advice. She is a very important person in my life and I look forward to our meetings. I love the way she thinks and the way she looks at life. When I finish my army service, I want to become a Big Sister.
